It’s May already; this is the month where I will finish my six month probationary period. Time really fly so fast. It feels that it was just yesterday when I joined the company, but in after few days I will become part of the regular employees. I guess I’m really enjoying my job that I tend to forget the days passing by. Of course, special days aren’t part of that.
I will just rewind some of the moments that unfold to get this job. I actually submitted my resume twice for this company both online and through a person. I thought it’s a futile feat because it takes about three weeks before I got a reply. My heart jumps when I heard I’m scheduled for an interview. As always, I feared that I will blow my one and only chance during the interview. But, it was such a great relief when the panel told me that I’m hired. I feel like floating in the air when I heard the news.
However, I’m on the shaking ground again during the employment background checks. I’m applying for a financial institution so it’s really required to scrutinize for the safety of the company. The only problem is that I forgot my exact salary from the previous company. So, there was a discrepancy in the results that delay the processing of my joining date. They have to investigate again whether or not I’m telling the truth or not. Good thing I was able to make my way out because I’m really honest when I said I forgot the exact amount. It’s been four years since I left that company and became freelance. So, it’s quite understandable to forget things like that.
For now, I’m happy that I’m part of the company. I’m really enjoying myself so I can say I’m giving what is expected of me.
At last after eight straight days of working, I finally got my most awaited day off. Actually, my off is scheduled on Wednesday, but due to training it was moved to this day. I thought my boss is serious for saying my weekly off is already forfeited. Good thing, he finally offered me this day to rest, which really makes me happy. I was able to sleep for more than eight hours, which lessen my eye bags.
Oh it’s been ages since the last time I posted something here. My job always gets in the way of my other activities. I know that should not be the excuse because I should learn good time management, which is what I’m trying to do. Well, I might be able to do that perfectly in the long run. For now, I will just go with the flow.
I feel so happy when I received my working visa from the company I’m working with this time. It’s the second company I become part of ever since I graduated from college. The adjustment is quite difficult because I’ve been a work-at-home buddy for some time. The schedule and the transportation are the hassles. But, this is my life and as of now I need and have to adjust to it.
Belated Merry Christmas everyone and advance Happy New Year. It takes me this long to say that. I got stuck up with work and even work on Christmas day and will work on New Year’s Day. Well, I can’t whine over that. Even if that’s the case, I will celebrate the occasion no matter what. It will be tiring, but it’s worth since those occasions are celebrated only once in every year.
You should start shopping for prom dresses in December and January before they start selling out and going onto backorder. The earlier you shop, the better. The heaviest months for the new season’s prom dresses are November and December, however prom dress designers and manufacturers get their styles into shops as early as September. The best selection of the most popular styles is normally available in December. The most popular styles are often already on back-order for several months by December or January. Most people have already ordered the most popular styles of prom dresses by the time the magazines show up in stores. Without magazines, how do they know about these new styles? They get on the internet.
Yesterday, I had a chance to chat with my brother. We tackle a lot of topic from my life plans to gossip and so on. We also discuss matters about her car. I’m really interested in reinventing the look of his car. For sure he will appreciate the idea.
