Lani is really excited to go home where her fiancee is. It’s been weeks since she started cleaning and packing her things. In fact, few of her luggage are already in the hall, which is a little messy. But, we can live with that since it’s only temporary or until her date of departure.

Her soon to be husband loves cars as she said it. He has the background, knowledge and skills to succeed in this industry that’s why they are considering it. In my mind, I think the auto shop software will definitely be of great use in this venture so I suggest it after she finished her story. Good thing she loves the idea and says will keep it in mind.

Very soon, hubby and I will become part of the working society again. We will start sleeping early, waking up early, wearing uniforms and name tags, and most importantly earning salary. Some may say it’s dull and uninteresting, but for us it is something we crave for a long time. That’s why we are excited to experience it.

Anyway, I wonder how my uniform and name tag will look like. I’m familiar with the services and products my new company offer, but I haven’t seen their uniforms yet. I haven’t been in one of their branches because I don’t have any transactions. I just hope they offer great looking uniforms as well as the name tags. The thought of it even excites me more. At last, after two months of waiting, Ron finally purchased a laptop yesterday. He longs to own one because he’s having hard time contacting his family in his home country. Constantly making international calls is way too pricey for him, which he can save for other things.

Also, he has no other means to spend his time when he is at home other than sleeping. Having a laptop gives him diversion and feels a little less homesick. I just noticed he really enjoy watching games like basketball and other ball games. I’m sure if he has a chance, he would choose to become ball player. I’m not just certain in his preference over those ball games.

Plus, her employer will cancel her visa so she really has to leave the country. That way she won’t face imprisonment. Or she can find a job within one month so she doesn’t need to leave. But, a month has passed and still there’s no new employer. So, she has no other choice, but to leave.

The situation could be a blessing in disguise. While waiting for her to return her she can do something to increase her skills and abilities. Example, she can enrol in a cosmetology course. Doing so will open opportunities in the beauty industry. That way she has more options in terms of profession.

I never thought I would be wearing a jacket and socks here in UAE. Actually, the weather outside is really scourging hot, but here in our room is a different story. The air-conditioning unit is giving us a chill all day every day. We can’t turn it off because the other tenants will surely complaint if we do that. So, we have to endure it since we have a goal. We also have to endure the hotness outside if we need to go elsewhere.

According to our roommates, the weather will change sooner. If lucky enough, we will experience winter, which is what I’m looking forward. I don’t know if people here have outdoor fireplaces because that would be nice to have on cold days. It can be the focal point of a gathering of friends and family. I’m not sure if that is the case here. But, let’s just see. I will discover that in the future, I guess.
