Hubby and I went to the mall to do our last minute Christmas shopping. Well, we pushed ourselves out of the crowd as there was a huge number of people in the mall. It’s quite exhausting, but I still enjoyed every moment of it. It’s nice to see people who are really excited for the Christmas, so I considered that a bonus that I really liked.

It feels like I have no energy left in me to do some pending tasks. But, I have no choice. It is better to do them now or else I will have to work on the Christmas day. How to Care for Sprains and Strains

For immediate relief, soak in bucket or shallow pan of cold water with ice cubes in it for around 15 minutes or for as long as is comfortable. Do this several times. Keep your feet elevated. Wrapping lightly with an ace bandage has been known to help.

diverting my attention to happy things

I’m a bit sad after knowing we will not be going home to celebrate Christmas. Hubby ran down his reasons, which I clearly understand that’s why I gave in easily although it’s hurting. This is the first time I’m away from my family to celebrate the season. I guess this will be the situation for the years to come. So, I have to start getting used to it.
