Would you believe that despite my financial difficulties, I am still thinking of vacation and adventure. Who says I can’t, right? However, this thought is out of envy towards my stewardess friend. Yeah, I know envy is a bad thing. I’d better stop thinking that way and find the right approach to make my travel ambitions into reality.
The truth of the matter is that I have been reading several reviews and articles on how to save when traveling abroad. One of the best techniques I determined, I think, is to stay in holiday villas or cottages instead of hotels. Why is that so? Well, it goes like this.
Holidays villas are much cheaper as compared to staying in a hotel with a daily rate and per room basis because most villas accommodate a larger number of travelers like a family of eight perhaps. The price that will be paid will cover the entire duration of the stay and includes every family member and even pets as well. From that alone there is a big difference. The amount could be used to finance local fare or food during the trips. But, the good thing is that this is not only the advantage of choosing a holiday villas. In fact, there are more to than just savings.
As I read through Villa Parade villa holidays site, I learned that choosing a villa gives me freedom to choose from the number of options. In this site alone I discover over 450 exclusive villas and holiday apartments throughout the Mediterranean. I think that’s already a wide array of choices.
In addition to that since it gives freedom the feeling is more likely staying in your own home in a foreign land. It gives the same privacy for the whole family to enjoy each other. And you are less likely to feel loss because you get to know more locals who know more about the great places to visit.
Well, moving forward on my travel ambitions, I actually made a list of places I want to visit. Hubby told me that if we get a regular job, we will start saving for our trip abroad. And after two to three years we will visit the first place we deem we will enjoy.
I have tackled some of these places in my previous posts. But, I haven’t touched Cyprus yet. I think this is the best instance to do it. Basically, Cyprus is the Mediterranean’s third largest island, and one of the most popular tourist destinations. It offers a number of prehistoric settlements and structures that would surely take me back in time. Plus, it has a number of breathtaking beaches. I’m sure I’ll find one that suits my taste. For that, I already grab the opportunity to list down several holiday villas in Cyprus in my journal.
Aside from Cyprus, I also take down few villa holidays in Mallorca. This is actually new to me since all I know is Spain. But, Mallorca is actually the largest island of Spain. It’s located in the Mediterranean Sea and part of the Balearic Islands archipelago. I only know this in Villa Parade. Since the place is an island, naturally it offers beautiful beaches and an intriguing cultural history.
Well, if you are going to follow this blog after two to three years from now. You’ll get updates as to how my travel plans would end up. Hopefully it would be according to my plan.
