Basically, home care after breaking a toe includes applying ice, elevating the foot, and rest. Medical treatment for a broken toe depends on which toe is broken, where in the toe the break is, and the severity of the break. If you do not have diabetes or peripheral arterial disease, your toe can be “buddy-taped” to your uninjured toe next to it. Protect the skin by putting some soft padding, such as felt or foam, between your toes before you tape them together. Your injured toe may need to be buddy-taped for 2 to 4 weeks to heal. If your injured toe hurts more after buddy taping it, remove the tape.
In rare cases, other treatment may be needed, including:
- Protecting the toe from additional injury. This may include using splints to stabilize the toe, a short leg cast, or a brace.
- Surgery, if the break is severe.
Medical treatment is needed more often for a broken big toe than for the other toes. An untreated fracture may cause long-term pain, limited movement, and deformity.

Honestly, I really love watching television. It is my pastime since I am a child. The only difference is that when I was a child I only have four local channels to enjoy. My parents don’t want additional expenses as of that time. But, since I am earning my own money I know have the option to pay for cable subscription.
I don’t have Direct TV subscription because that is not available in my country. But, if ever I would choose that provider over my current cable provider. The reason is simple. I am an avid television fan. I like to watch almost any kinds of programming as long as I find it interesting. Having only 30 channels like what I have is enough, but if I have an option for more. Then, I would grab it.
Direct TV Satellite starts at 50 to over 250 channels. The line-up includes the best sports programs available, movies, children’s programs, local and national programs, news, weather, and much more. And they are giving away significant discounts on their packages. That is considerable an attractive offer.
That is the reason if ever we will transfer to the US, we would consider Directv Satellite. It will surely be in our list. Of course that is still in the future and years will have to pass by. So, it is better to say that instead of committing. We all know that there are so many things that could happen in the future.

Starting a business is a serious matter. It is not a temporary thing that if you don’t like it after a few months you could easily drop it. Every person that wants to venture into the tough business world thinks of long-term tenure. No business minded person would ever negatively think that he or she could retire the business after a couple of years.
Well, a friend of mine in California thinks that way. He wants to start a business San Francisco, CA, but has this thinking to stop operation after getting back the capital. I think that is not the essence of putting up a business. Aside from the fact that successful business offers a good source of income, it also offers a good sense of achievement.
He feared to start something from scratch and will just die out. Well, then he should consider franchising if he can’t take too much risk. The positive side of franchising is that all the management and marketing aspect is given by the franchisor. Some even gives financial advice and assistance if the franchisor thinks that the location is valuable for them. So, he won’t have to worry because his success rate is fairly higher than starting from scratch. But, he must understand that it requires higher amount of capital. Franchisors require a fee for the right to use their product and name. I think money is not an issue for him.
