Learning What is Digital SLR Camera

Posted on Saturday, August 15th, 2009 at 3:07 am

Learning What is Digital SLR CameraI’m sure a lot of you guys are wondering what is digital SLR camera. Well, many consumers are much more familiar with compact digital cameras, since these models have flooded the marketplace. Like cell phones, it’s hard to walk down the street these days without seeing someone snapping a photo. Digital SLR cameras are far less common, and up until 2005 were really only used by professionals.

Days pass by and good news is that the price of digital SLRs keeps falling and many are competitive now with the high-end compact cameras. This also means that many new consumers are hearing about these cameras and aren’t quite sure what they can do. So what is a digital SLR? Let’s find out.

SLR is an acronym: it stands for Single Lens Reflex. Now you know what SLR stands for but that doesn’t really help answer the question, does it? Let’s define further:

  • With an SLR camera, you see exactly what the lens sees
  • You can change the lens on a digital SLR
  • Digital SLRs have large image sensors that produce high-quality photos
  • An SLR has a near-zero lag time, and is ideal for action photography

Bottom line, Digital SLR cameras are versatile. You can take photos of everything from sleeping kittens to race cars and you’ll never be limited by your camera. With an SLR in your hands you can rest assured that you’ll only miss great photo opportunities because you weren’t prepared, not because your camera was too slow.

killing time in the mall

killing time in the mallYesterday, I really don’t have any plans of going out of the house. I am so lazy to do that. However, my dad sent me an SMS to meet him in the mall. In some way, I find it a motivation to leave the house and roam around the mall. The thing is, he left me after a few minutes. Good thing hubby is with me.

Well, since are already in the mall. We just savor our time and take a look at everything our eyes see. I fit several shoes, check on a lot of bags, clothes, kitchen supplies and even exercise equipment, which is what I really wanted as of this time. And we realize that the malls are giving away huge discount for our town events. Yepey! Shoppers will get as much as 50% discount of course on selected items. The sad thing is that, I am saving for a much bigger plan and I promise that I will not purchase anything until I reach that.

importance of colon cleansingColon cleansing is not a topic that everybody would like to tackle or discuss in their discussion. But, let’s not forget that even though it may sound disgusting. We cannot ignore the many benefits colon cleansing offer. We all know that everything we eat ends up in our bowels as toxins. However, as time goes by and as these toxins build up, we end up with several diseases such as being constipation and overweight.

To avoid experiencing the tiresome condition, a person may opt to undergo colon cleansing especially for a person who is suffering from the said condition. Colon cleansing helps regulate proper bowel movement and eventually leads to overall health and limit the occurrence of the bothersome condition.

The problem is that there are so many colon cleansing products available in the market today. The number of choices makes selection difficult. And there is a risk that the chosen product would pose harmful to the health. The best way is to read colon cleanse reviews from real people who have tried the products before even committing to one. Doing research to a certain product, in some way will answer the many questions a person might have. And it will give background to the safety and effectiveness of the product. In other words, it is safer to do research first as compare to doing nothing.

Smell of Romance of Pattinson and Stewart

Smell of Romance of Pattinson and StewartA lot of “Twilight” fans would like to have the media attention turned away from the personal lives of the stars to the work they do, tabloids just can’t get enough of the Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart dating rumors. Following the snap of the two taken by a fan outside The Hotel Café in Hollywood over the weekend, reports are coming in again as to how much in love the two young actors are, are they? Well, report says that Robert and Kristen have been apart for most of the summer, so meeting again and then getting to spend time together is something they simply can’t get enough of, an unnamed source says. They are very much in love, so much so that they can barely keep their hands off each other when they’re in public, even if they mustn’t do that for a reason the insider fails to mention.

Be that as it may, it’s clear by now that Pattinson-Stewart alleged affair and the kind of media attention it is getting have not dwindled fans’ interest in the vampire film, several movie-oriented publications point out. “Twilight” continues to reign supreme in teens’ (but not only) preferences, and the reaction the latest official “New Moon” trailer got should speak volumes in this sense.

lazy and tired day

Posted on Saturday, August 15th, 2009 at 12:41 am

lazy and tired dayI feel so tired yesterday. I feel like my body is so heavy, as if I carry tons and tons of stuff. I don’t like getting up, all I want to do is to lie around and sleep all day to regain strength. Well, I can’t do that since I have lots of things to do in the web, and errands. Since my father called to meet me in the mall, I can’t say no even if I don’t have any plans to go out.

I think going out is some sort of a relief as I felt good as I roam around the mall. I even checked several bottles of diet pills or diet supplements. Of course, I can’t find the best diet pills by just looking and reading labels. If ever I would buy that would mean I have to read customers reviews on the web.

I continue to roam around until I finished checking every store and decided to buy a siopao or steamed buns. It’s a bit cheaper than the rest of its kind, but it tastes better. I don’t know why. Instead of feeling tired, I am already refreshed and willing to sit back in front of my computer.

excellent foods for exercise

excellent foods for exerciseBasically, right fitness foods help burn fat, build muscle, and even boost your cardiovascular health. So, get ready to eat your way to better results! Here are some great foods that guaranteed to make any type of exercise you do more effective—long after you’ve broken a sweat.

  • Pineapple and Papaya (Good for: Muscle recovery) Both of these tropical fruits are loaded with bromelain and papain, enzymes that not only help break down proteins for digestion but also have anti-inflammatory properties to speed up your post-workout recovery.
  • Salmon (Good for: Cardiovascular fitness) Researchers found that cyclists who took fish oil for 8 weeks had lower heart rates and consumed less oxygen during intense bicycling than a control group did. The fatty acids in fish oil need to become incorporated into muscle and heart cells to have an effect, and that takes weeks of consumption—so either take fish oil pills each day, or try to eat fish rich in fatty acids multiple times a week to see similar results.
  • Pasta with Meat Sauce (Good for: Muscle building and repair) The perfect post-weight training repast has about 400 calories, with 20 to 30 grams of protein (to build new muscle) and 50 to 65 grams of carbohydrates (to repair old muscle). Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or a small bowl of pasta with meat sauce fits that formula.
  • Pork Tenderloin (Good for: Waist-trimming) Lean meats are a great low-calorie source of protein, and scientists at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, found that eating more protein may reduce the fat around your midsection. People who ate 20 more grams of protein every day than the group average had 6 percent lower waist-to-hip ratios.
